Science project

Well if you don't know we have quite the zoo going on at our house. We currently have 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 chameleons. Well we switched our chameleons to only eating silkworms. There are only 2 suppliers in the USA so it can be spendy at times. Well we ordered to many worms the first time and alot of them spun into coccons. Me and the kids decided to give it a try to hatch our own. We collected the eggs and hibernated them for the 3 months. Today we took them out of hibernation to see if we could get them to hatch. In 7-10 days we will hopefully have baby silkworms. Kaitlyn is so excited about doing this. Will keep you posted.

Spring time

I love this time of year. Today I spent a lot of the afternoon working out in my flower beds. It is a rare day to not have rain. I got 1 bed weeded and compost put down. Planted some sweet peas and forget me nots. I love seeing the plants come to life after winter. My clematis are doing amazing. I currently have 14 different types. I bought 3 new types last spring and have had them in pots since then. Some of them already have flower buds. I will need to get them planted in the ground soon. Just need to find a place as my front yard is full. We are hoping to get a patio put in the back yard as we tore out our deck last summer. We will also be taking on the daunting task of landscaping our back yard. It is a mess after having to tear it up 2 summers ago to fix our septic. Oh the joys of owning a house.

Latest hobby

I have been having scrappers block lately. Seeing as I have enough supplies to open my own store I thought I would start making cards. This has been so relaxing. I find myself designing cards in my head all day. The hard part is getting it down on paper they way I want it. Here are a few that I have taken pics of.
