Stage make-up

Last week Stephanie's drama class got to play with stage make-up. She had told us that they were going to be doing this but I forgot. She comes home from school and totally freaked me out. I thought she had wacked her head. She got a kick out of it.

Cody's birthday

Today was Cody's 11th birthday. We had a family BBQ because it was also Gery's moms birthday. It was really nice weather about 90 degrees. So the kids got to run around outside.

WOHOO!!!

This has been a crazy week. Stephanie has been doing 3 hour per day dance team practices all week. Try outs were today and she made Jr. Varsity. She is so excited. The summer is looking to be a busy one.

Remodel pics

Ok, I tried to take some pictures of our on going bathroom remodel. We still have the trim, floor, bathtub to refinish, and linen cabinet to stain and install. But it is getting there. You can't really see the color on the walls, it is a med. sand color. I textured the walls then painted them with a textured paint called brushed suede.

Remodel

Well for the past 3 weeks we have been remodeling our bathroom. It started out we were going to just do a few things. Well one thing lead to another and we are pretty much doing the whole thing. It really needed it. The previous owners wallpapered every wall in the house. We have textured the walls and painted them. We got a new vanity. I thought I would try my hand at staining. Well I think I will leave that to the pros. It looks ok was much harder then I thought it would be. We replaced the counter and sink. Got new mirrors. Tomorrow we will be replacing the blue toilet, yes I said blue. I am also going to refinish our bathtub which is also blue. Once all that is done we will be replacing the floor with tile. It has been a little more then we planned on as we had to replace the floor. It was rotted clear through to the 2x4. That right there was a whole day of work in it self. I will try to post pictures tomorrow. I wanted to take pictures of the transformation but forgot to take before pictures So I will try to get some after we install the toilet.

We have babies

Well so far our science project is going well. We now have hundreds, Yes I said hundreds of baby silk worms. They are about 1/8th of an inch long. Kaitlyn is so excited. I will post pics when they get bigger.
